About Tai Shani: The Spell or The Dream – Somerset House:
From August 7 to September 14, 2025, Somerset House presents The Spell or The Dream, a major new commission by Turner Prize-winning artist Tai Shani. Set in the Edmond J. Safra Fountain Court, this powerful installation features a 10-metre-long sleeping figure encased in glass, accompanied by a dreamy soundscape and the 24/7 global broadcast Dream Radio. With live talks, performances, and family events throughout the summer, this free exhibition explores dreaming as an act of resistance, collective memory, and visionary possibility.
