About Lisette Model - Retrospective:
From October 30, 2025 to February 22, 2026, the Albertina Museum in Vienna hosts a comprehensive Lisette Model Retrospective, offering a deep look into the career of one of the most influential photographers of the 20th century. Known for her uncompromising portraits of society’s fringes and elites, Model’s work in cities like New York and Paris broke new ground in documentary and street photography. This exhibition features her most iconic images, such as Coney Island Bather, alongside rarely seen works and the first-ever public display of her 1979 monograph draft.
