From 14 November 2025 to 6 April 2026, the Albertina Museum in Vienna presents Motherscapes, a retrospective of Japanese-Swiss artist Leiko Ikemura. Known for merging Eastern and Western influences, Ikemura’s work explores femininity, transformation, and the deep ties between humanity and nature. The exhibition includes vibrant paintings, minimalist drawings, and sculptural works in terracotta, glass, and bronze—each infused with poetic emotion and hybrid mythologies.
