About SP–Arte Rotas 2025: Contemporary Art in Motion:
More than just a fair, Rotas is a space for discovery—a place where galleries, artists, and cultural initiatives converge to explore the diverse paths art can take today.
This year’s event presents around 70 curated projects, reaffirming its commitment to showcasing bold and relevant contemporary practices. Returning as artistic director, Rodrigo Moura—renowned for his work at MALBA and previous SP–Arte editions—also curates the Mirante section, dedicated to large-scale works that reflect on Brazil’s rich social and historical landscape.
Immersive Programs and Citywide Activations
Beyond the exhibitions, Rotas invites the public to engage with art through talks with artists and curators, audio guides for deeper immersion, and the Circuito SP–Arte—a parallel program of special gallery openings and cultural events across São Paulo.
This unique format transforms the fair into a platform that not only presents contemporary art but connects institutions, ideas, and audiences throughout the city.
Spotlight on the Previous Edition: SP–Arte April 2025
Held in April 2025, the flagship edition of SP–Arte welcomed nearly 200 exhibitors, including leading Brazilian and international galleries, nonprofit spaces, and institutional players. The fair confirmed its status as Latin America's premier art event, drawing major collectors, curators, and museum professionals from across the globe.
