About Manet & Morisot Retrospective:
From October 11, 2025 to March 1, 2026, the Legion of Honor in San Francisco presents the first major retrospective dedicated to the artistic dialogue between Édouard Manet and Berthe Morisot. Spanning 15 years of creative exchange, the exhibition challenges traditional narratives by revealing how Manet’s later style was influenced by Morisot’s innovative techniques and subjects. With iconic works and fresh scholarship, this landmark show reexamines the foundations of Impressionism through the lens of mutual inspiration and artistic equality.
