About Ana Mendieta – Tate Modern Exhibition 2026:
The Ana Mendieta exhibition at Tate Modern runs from 9 July 2026 to 10 January 2027 and highlights the powerful legacy of one of the 20th century’s most influential artists. Featuring iconic works like her Silueta Series, as well as newly remastered films, paintings, and rarely seen sculptures, this is the first major UK show of Mendieta’s work in over a decade. The exhibition extends beyond the gallery walls, reflecting her deep bond with the natural world. Known for themes of identity, displacement, and embodiment, Mendieta’s practice remains urgent and resonant today.
