    Biography

    Salvador Dalí, a Spanish artist (1904–1989), was a leading figure of Surrealism, a 20th-century avant-garde movement focused on unleashing unconscious creativity through dreamlike imagery.

    His works, ranging from paintings to films, helped define the Surrealist movement, with The Persistence of Memory being one of his most iconic pieces. Dalí's art, widely exhibited during his lifetime.
