About Frieze Los Angeles 2026:
Frieze Los Angeles is back for its seventh edition, returning to Santa Monica Airport with a vibrant celebration of contemporary art. The 2026 fair will bring together around 100 top galleries from around the world, alongside large-scale installations, nonprofit projects, and a curated selection of LA’s best food pop-ups.
As one of the city’s most anticipated cultural events, Frieze LA draws artists, collectors, curators, and visitors from across the globe. The fair includes two main sections:
- Galleries, featuring major international names and group presentations.
- Focus, a curated section spotlighting young U.S.-based galleries founded in or after 2014, led by curator Essence Harden.
The 2025 edition drew 30,000 visitors from 85 countries, generating strong sales and a vibrant atmosphere. Beyond the market, the fair spotlighted LA’s museums, artist-run spaces, and nonprofits, supporting the city’s recovery after wildfires.

Major galleries reported sold-out booths and seven-figure sales, while the Focus section impressed with young talent. Fundraising initiatives like Galleries Together further underscored the fair’s role as both a cultural and community landmark.
