About Art CPD for Schools: Progression: Textiles in the Primary Classroom:
On February 6, 2026, join Art CPD for Schools: Progression – Textiles in the Primary Classroom at the Wolverhampton School of Art. This full-day workshop is designed for primary teachers and Art Leads who want to develop their skills in teaching textiles for KS1 and KS2. Led by fashion designer Roz (Complex Simplicity) and visual artist Becky Thompson (Arts Connect), you’ll explore traditional and contemporary textile techniques, learn hands-on activities, and gain curriculum-aligned project ideas. The day also includes visual analysis training, vocabulary building, and strategies for embedding textiles into wider subject areas.
