Abstract
Artusnow was born in France and is currently based in Madrid. A self-taught visual artist, he navigates the thin, shifting line between photography and painting—digitally sculpting vibrant, hypertextured creations that celebrate color, chaos, and the natural world. His specialty lies in large-scale pieces, the most monumental being a mural measuring 270 x 650 cm. Whether abstract or figurative, his works are dense with texture and rich in layered colors, often so altered that the original photographic base fades into a poetic, dreamlike vision of reality. His vibrant palettes and hypnotic overlays echo the aesthetic of a digital symphony.
Calling himself a “graphic DJ,” Artusnow blends photographs like musical samples—merging and remixing them into entirely new visual compositions. Always in pursuit of new surfaces and sensations, he captures textures in the most unexpected places: rusted doors, cracked facades, peeling posters, graffiti-smeared walls, burnt bins. These overlooked details become the raw material of his creativity, drawing viewers into his unique perception of the world.
INSPIRATION & ARTISTIC EVOLUTION
"Keep your love for nature, because it is the true way to understand art more and more." – Vincent van Gogh
Nature: Infinite in shape, texture, and color, nature is my visual playground. I deconstruct and reassemble its elements to evoke new emotional experiences.
The Human Body: The ancient Greeks saw divine perfection in the nude. I still do. The human form continues to channel that sacred balance between body and soul.
Textures: The heart of my work. They live in peeling walls, layered posters, butterfly wings, and forgotten spaces. Often missed by the eye, I reveal them—infusing my digital paintings with raw, tactile life. Sometimes, the result dances close to Street Art.
