Born in Lviv, Ukraine.
He graduated from the Lviv College of Decorative and Applied Arts named after I. Trush in 1991, and later from the Lviv Academy of Arts in 1998.
Savchenko works across a wide range of media, including painting, drawing, photography, video, animation, street sculpture, and object art.
He is the former curator of the residency program at the Museum of Ideas in Lviv, Ukraine, and has actively participated in international residencies, workshops, and art events both in Ukraine and abroad.
Serhiy is the founder of the Savchenko Gallery and the Savchenko Foundation in Gdańsk, Poland.
He currently lives and works between Lviv, Ukraine, and Gdańsk, Poland.
