Born in Oryol in 1967, Russia. Being an artist has been a dream since childhood. At the age of 10, I went to an art school, then continued my education at an art college, and later at the Faculty of Applied Arts of the Textile Academy. I received a solid academic foundation, combined with a decorative and applied focus in higher education, which laid a strong base for me as an artist.
Despite working as an interior designer for many years, the dream of dedicating myself solely to painting never left me. Since 2005, this dream has come true—it was a leap of faith. The more I worked and immersed myself in painting, the more I realized that this is my true path.
“Painting is my passion, my method of understanding the world, my self-expression, my air that I breathe.”
It’s important to me that my work resonates with viewers, and I am happy that hundreds of my paintings have been purchased by collectors around the world and successfully sold at leading global auctions such as Christie’s.
My art primarily appeals to feelings and emotions. When I start a new series or painting, I await the magic myself—curious about where the journey will lead. For me, the atmosphere, immersion, and aftertaste are much more important than the narrative plot.
As an artist, I strive to dive deep into the image, aiming to convey emotion above all—emotion that sparks thought in the viewer. I consider experimentation and the search for new artistic forms to be vital aspects of creativity. I frequently explore different media and techniques, often developing them myself. I have participated in dozens of exhibitions and international projects, and my works have won numerous international art competitions.
