Biography
Mirit Ben Nun is an Israeli artist, born in Beersheba in 1966 under the name Mirit Altshuler.
Mirit began painting in her early 30s, after many years of involvement in numerous business ventures.
Ben Nun creates in a wide variety of techniques, including acrylic and oil paintings on canvas, painting on wooden surfaces, drawings, mixed media paintings of pencils and markers, and more.
Ben Nun's works are made in a unique language, are endowed with bright colors, and promote a central idea of equality, while placing women as a central motif in her works
