Running from October 18, 2025 to March 1, 2026, The Stars We Do Not See: Australian Indigenous Art is a landmark exhibition at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. Featuring more than 200 works by over 130 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists, the exhibition spans late 19th-century pieces to contemporary expressions in painting, photography, sculpture, and multimedia. Drawn from the National Gallery of Victoria, it offers an unprecedented opportunity for North American audiences to engage with the deep cultural, political, and spiritual narratives of Indigenous Australia.
