Jean Pierre André Leclercq – A Painter of Light, Line, and the Human Form
Israel
Abstract
Orly Shalem, born in 1966, is a self-taught Israeli artist living and working in Nili. With a background in graphic design from Hadassah College and art instruction from Beit Berl College, she primarily paints in acrylics, using a wide range of materials and techniques.
Her work draws from both introspective and external observations, with nature often serving as the emotional landscape onto which she projects her inner world. Moving between expressive and lyrical abstraction, her paintings capture the rhythm and flux of contemporary life.
Shalem is a member of the Organization of Plastic Artists in Israel and has exhibited widely in solo and group shows both domestically and internationally. Her works are featured in galleries and are sought after by collectors, interior designers, and private clients.
