Ivan Schwebel's unique artistic language blends Impressionism and American Pop Art, with works
Abstract
Simplicity and creativity create an image in the mind of artistic freedom, but upon closer inspection, one discovers that the creation is the result of precision and discipline. The outcome is, on one hand, a broad imagination flowing like a river in a sculptural and aesthetic language that evokes a sense of movement and action. On the other hand, it features minimalist lines that seek introspection, looking inward into the soul, expressing emotion through line and form.
Sometimes noisy, sometimes calm, all in the same breath. Neomi manages to challenge the boundaries of drawing and questions the definitions regarding the separation between drawing and painting. Her paintings are characterized by mixed and unique techniques of acrylic, design pastes, oil, and ink.
Neomi was born in Kfar Saba in 1992.
"In my paintings, as in life, I try to transform the black stains into creation as a source of growth. The stain is not a blemish. Just as fire can burn an entire crop, it can also enrich the soil and create a stronger yield in the future. In dark, unclear places, life can emerge."
