Natalija Chernetskaja was born in 1963 in Moscow, Russia. She graduated from the Moscow Industrial Art College as a specialist in textile decoration and gained valuable experience working at the factory "Art List." She further pursued her artistic education at the Textile Institute.
Natalija works in various techniques, including watercolor, oil, and batik, with batik being her favorite despite its complexity. This technique allows for the creation of intricate, multi-colored designs. She specializes in both hot and cold batik methods. The hot batik technique uses hot paraffin to form flat figures, while the cold batik technique relies on rubber glue as the main reserving substance. Unlike traditional painting, batik enables constant experimentation, achieving unique effects and innovations.
Natalija Chernetskaja's works are part of private collections in Russia, Europe, and the United States.
