Abstract | Impressionism | Semi-Abstract
I was born in Argentina and have lived in Israel since 1979. I am married with two children. Painting has been my great passion since I was a little girl. My academic background is in Chemistry, and I worked in the high-tech industry for 27 years. In 2015, I decided to leave my job and fully concentrate on my painting career.
I developed my skills by attending drawing classes, realistic oil painting workshops, and spending many hours in self-study—especially in the abstract style. I paint in Abstract, Abstractive Landscapes, and Figurative styles.
I was featured in the Gold List top edition of International Art Market Magazine and in Capsules, a premium boutique publication. I was awarded a Certificate of Excellence by Art Market Magazine for my unique artistic style and high technical achievement in the contemporary art world. I also received a Special Mention Award in the 2022 Art Vue Foundation's yearly competition.
I have hosted a solo exhibition and participated in several group exhibitions in Israel, New York, Italy, and Madrid. In 2023, I began teaching my abstract painting techniques in workshops.
When creating an abstract painting, I work intuitively. I use several tools including brushes, spatulas, sponges, and silicone mops. At first, the shapes seem random, but layer by layer, they connect and make sense. The outcome is expressive and captivating.
My figurative compositions are imbued with romance and sensuality. I start with a realistic drawing and add abstract elements during the painting process.
When painting an abstractive landscape, I start with a blank canvas. I paint randomly, but with a specific scene in mind—something I saw, a photo, or an imaginary landscape—using the same techniques as in my abstract works.
