Abstract | Expressionism
My WAY of painting emerges from a deep immersion into the magic of colors. Innocent, vibrant, pulsating, questioning... marked... leaving traces. Each painting holds the challenge of conveying an emotional experience to the viewer.
Dive into the world of my ART – ME.
Born in Waldburg near Freistadt, Manuela Eibensteiner lives and works in Freistadt (Upper Austria) at her studio, ART-ME.
Her great passion for painting began at a young age. The fascination with colors and their expressive power captivated her, and alongside her work as a tourism specialist, an ever-growing artistic curiosity developed.
Engaging with various materials, she plays with impressions of color and light using glazing techniques in representational, impressionist, and sometimes fantastical portrayals. Encounters with trees, stones, and people influence the artistic processing of these impressions.
Her drive for more knowledge led her to numerous courses and art studies with fellow artists, where she learned a variety of techniques—from the "old craft" of reverse glass painting and hollow glass painting to working with oil, acrylic, and charcoal on various surfaces (paper, wood, cardboard, canvas, fabric, leather…).
She reflects on ways to capture nature in images. Surrounded by the beautiful Mühlviertel region, she draws strength and inspiration from nature and from her love for her family and friends.
In her studio in Freistadt, she welcomes numerous visitors from home and abroad.
Member of numerous cultural networks and artist associations.
Represented in international galleries and art fairs.
