Biography
Dondi (Danny) Schwartz is an Israeli artist, born in Canada in 1961 and immigrated to Israel with his family.
Schwartz is a multidisciplinary artist and studied a variety of fields of interest at several institutions in Israel and abroad, including painting, photography, writing, and cinema. Schwartz paints mainly in the technique of oil paints on canvas, and his paintings show a profound and unique view of the subject matter. Schwartz's painting style ranges from abstract to impressionistic, with an occasional tendency toward surrealist paintings. Dundi Schwartz's works have been exhibited in several solo and group exhibitions in several galleries. Schwartz has also written and produced several independent films, which have appeared at festivals and cinematheques across the country, in cinemas, and on television. Schwartz has also written and published two novels and a book of short stories.
