Abstract | Expressionism | Figurative | Minimalism
My name is Christian Reimann. I was born in 1975 in Bavaria, Germany, and for nearly 20 years I’ve lived in Bremen, in northern Germany. My profession is civil engineering, but my true passion lies in classic printing techniques—linoprint, drypoint etching, and cyanotype printing.
I enjoy exploring these methods in experimental ways, blending styles and integrating elements such as iPhone photos or even AI-generated motifs with manual editing and the historic, analog process of cyanotype printing. I often further modify the prints with brushwork or treatments using tea or coffee. I began printing in 2015 and have since created more than 150 individual motifs each year.
In 2017, I founded an open group for live nude sketching to deepen my skills in proportion and rapid form interpretation using brush, pencil, or ink. I’m open to commissions and love exhibiting my work, which I’ve presented at various group and solo shows throughout the year, each centered around different themes.
