A subjective perspective on landscapes and suburbs is my current theme, not only as a photographer but also as an educator at high school and university where I teach photography.
In the past, I made a living as a commercial photographer, and for 21 years, I worked as a photojournalist for the largest Czech newspapers. Among other things, I have also worked for visual magazines, including Time Magazine, which published my photo essay about Czech winter swimmers.
As a photojournalist, I have been involved in projects with a social, environmental, and lifestyle context. For these photographs, I have received a total of nine Czech Press Photo awards and have been shortlisted in the Sony World Press Photography Award competition twice. In the field of Creative Photography, I obtained a Master of Arts degree at the Silesian University in Opava.
