Abstract
Ziv Tidhar began his artistic journey in the early 1970s on the carpet in the living room of his childhood home in Dimona. His initial forays into art included building with Lego and modeling clay, painting with gouache and oil pastels, and using mixed techniques that incorporated his mother's makeup accessories. He later pursued formal studies in the Department of Architecture at Bezalel (1994-1999).
As a multidisciplinary visual artist, Ziv has established himself both as a creator and curator. He notably curated exhibitions at the legendary Gross Gallery by the late Naomi Shalev. Ziv resides in north Tel Aviv, where every room in his house doubles as an active studio, dedicating his time to his art around the clock. He shares his life with his partner and their dog.
