Manuela Eibensteiner is an Austrian artist whose expressive color-driven works reflect nature,
Abstract | Figurative | Minimalism
I grew up in the coastal area of Sweden. Nearly all of my ancestors have been settled in this region. Men and women who had to live on what earth and water could provide.
I have spent my life in many places in and outside Sweden, but here is where my home is, my heritage, my place on earth.
I feel great love for this landscape with its green and yellow fields, with its long sandy beaches and the sea ahead of us.
The sea which meets the sky far away on the horizon.
My motifs will be whatever comes to my mind. Mostly I use mixed media. In one painting you might find acrylics, watercolor, ink, pastels, color pencils, spray paint. To create extra depth and structure I use different kinds of materials like sand, glue, modeling paste, cold wax, crackles etc.
My intention is to create paintings that makes you feel happy and inspired.
The world is complicated. My art is not.
