Biography
Raya Cohen is an Israeli multidisciplinary artist, born in 1954. She works in painting and sculpture, as well as teaching art.
Cohen paints mainly in the technique of oil paints on canvas in large formats, in a style that ranges from abstract to expressive, and even touches on naive art. Many of Raya Cohen's paintings depict her childhood memories, and she repeatedly depicts girls and young women in red dresses in changing everyday situations, and she depicts everything in warm and optimistic colors.
