Miri Baruch is an artist whose abstract, figurative, and landscape paintings blend intuition
Surrealism | Figurative
Mamuka was born in 1968 in Tbilisi, Georgia. He studied at the Nikoladze Art School before continuing his painting education at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts. Since his student years, he has participated in numerous art fairs both in Georgia and internationally.
Throughout his career, Mamuka has worked with both figurative and abstract painting, ultimately merging the two in his later portrait works. He employs the intricate Flemish painting technique used by the old masters of the Northern Renaissance. While his characters echo Flemish influences, their vivid colors and abstract backgrounds place them beyond any specific time or place.
For over 20 years, Mamuka’s works have been exhibited and featured in art fairs across Georgia, the UK, Ireland, the USA, Europe, and Russia.
