Konrad Zając is a graduate of the following universities: Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Academy of Art in Szczecin and West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin. He began studies in computer science, which he graduated with a master's degree in engineering. During studies in this field, he became interested in the visual side of information systems and the power of their impact on the user. This inspired him to study graphic design at the Academy of Art in Szczecin.
The subject of his first diploma was a synthesis of three interests: cinematography, poster design, and typography. For this reason, the work was a series of posters presenting a combination of typography and graphics referring to famous film quotes. This work was created in the studio of an outstanding Polish artist and member of the Polish School of Posters, prof. Lex Drewiński. Konrad Zając continued his research simultaneously at the Academy of Art in Szczecin and the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.
The second master's degree, obtained with a very good grade, concerned graphic design, more precisely typography and its relationship with the poster. Wanting to pay tribute to selected Polish poster artists, he created a collection of graphics that reflects their styles. This work was created under the supervision of prof. Michał Kacperczyk. He obtained a third master's degree in Warsaw with the highest possible grade.
The poster part of the work was created under the supervision of Polish poster artist, Dr. Marcin Władyka. He creates his projects in various artistic categories, such as drawing, painting, animation and others. Poster art is the category in which he has gained the greatest recognition, which is confirmed by exhibitions in; Slovakia, Turkey, South Korea, Romania, Indonesia, Spain, China, the USA, Argentina, Ecuador and Romania.
