Israel
Abstract
Karin was born in 1977 in Haifa and is a graduate of the Department of Visual Communication at Shenkar. Over her 15 years as a graphic designer, she has explored various and diverse design worlds, including product design, graphic design, branding, print, illustration, and more.
Karin's attraction to painting began when she was a little girl, and she has always had a strong inclination towards painting and creation, materials, textures, paper, colors, and more. In recent years, Karin started painting as part of the "matters of colors" movement under the guidance of Bruria Hassner. This is a group that includes over a hundred artists who paint together and exhibit their works worldwide.
In recent years, Karin has developed her unique painting style, opening a portal to her inner world through her creations. She views each painting as the creation of a special world that allows every observer to see their own world.
Karin was selected to display one of her works at the London Art Biennale 2020. She has had solo exhibitions at the Sharett House in Givatayim and at the Schumacher Hotel in Haifa, as well as group exhibitions in selected galleries in Israel: "Kroll" - a gallery for contemporary art, the Artists' House in Haifa, and the Ben Ami Gallery in Tel Aviv.
Karin works in a studio in Herzliya, where she creates, curates, displays her works, and hosts content evenings on topics of art, design, culture, and creation.
