Biography
A figurative painter Gabi Elkayam is known for her emotionally resonant large-format works and unique visual experiences.
Born in 1972, Gabi is a figurative painter who lives and creates in Tel Aviv. She is a graduate of Tel Hai College of Plastic Arts and has also studied privately with leading Israeli painters. She grew up in Safed in the artists' quarter to an artist father and, in her youth, worked as an apprentice to well-known artists.
She paints in a figurative and expressive style, focusing on objects that resonate emotionally with her, which she integrates into her artistic world. She usually works on large formats that enhance the visual impact of her works and create a unique viewing experience for the audience.
