Biography
Aryeh Kaflon (1909-1995) was an Israeli painter. Born in Belarus, he immigrated to Israel in 1926.
He lived in Afula and then moved to the Jerusalem area to study art in Bamla. He lived and created in Tel Aviv and then in Be'er Sheva.
Aryeh Kaflon's paintings are full of color in a French post-impressionist style, including dots and spots in different colors, which create a kind of mosaic for the entire painting. On this background, Kaflon depicted figures and landscapes of the Land of Israel. Most of his works were done in the technique of oil on wood. Kaflon exhibited in many exhibitions in Israel
