Vasyl Luchkiv was born in 1982 in Ukraine into an artist’s family. Under the guidance of his father, a graduate of the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts, he began pursuing art professionally.
His first exhibition took place in 2002 at the Lviv Academy of Arts. He later lived and worked in Kyiv (2003–2005), collaborating with local galleries. Over the years, he has participated in exhibitions in Truskavets (2007), Mariupol (2010), and Geneva (2017).
“For me, art has always been a way to express my vision of the world, my emotions, and inner feelings,” says Luchkiv. His works are held in private collections across the USA, Cyprus, Greece, Spain, Italy, Israel, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Germany, and beyond.
