Biography
Ioan Bompa is a Romanian visual artist born in Reghin in 1969.
A graduate of the N. Grigorescu Academy of Fine Arts in Bucharest, his career spans painting, restoration, interior decoration, and illustration. Bompa has exhibited in Romania, Israel, Greece, and Hungary, and collaborated on restoration projects such as the painter Petraşcu’s house. He has also illustrated several books by Sorin Voinea, showcasing his versatile artistic range.
