Biography

Esther Peretz Arad (1921-2005) was an Israeli painter and sculptor. Born in 1921 in Bulgaria, she immigrated to Israel in 1924.

She studied painting at the Avni Institute in Tel Aviv, and also studied sculpture with Yitzhak Danziger.

Peretz Arad's style is mainly figurative, with the integration of elements from nature. In addition, Esther Peretz Arad's painting techniques included oil paintings alongside drawings on paper, collages and etchings. In 1956, Peretz Arad won the Dizengoff Prize.

Esther Peretz Arad's works have been exhibited in many exhibitions in Israel and abroad, and are in many collections in Israel and abroad
